Just getting back in the swing of things post-High Sierra! What a wonderful time! So much great music was made - it was a daydream come true, playing the big stage, collaborating with other musicians, troubador sessions, dreaming about kickball games at 6am (oh wait, that was real)! Thanks to everyone involved for making it such a special one.

Solstice Festival June 18-20 and High Sierra Music Festival July 1-4...Oh yes! It's shaping up to be quite a summer! Stay tuned...

I've got some news about some supercool shows coming up! I'll be opening a show this Friday in Sacramento for Little Feat guitarists Paul Barrere & Fred Tackett. Plus I'll be bringing a full band to the Great American Music Hall stage in San Francisco next weekend, opening for a jam-band supergroup called The Contribution, featuring members of New Monsoon, Railroad Earth & String Cheese Incident! For all you east coasters, if you would like to help me plan a tour for the not-so-far-future, please get in touch. I miss playing for you all, however the work involved in planning an efficient tour is rather extensive. I could definitely use some assistance in advancing my teleporting skills. In the meantime, I am enjoying the opportunity to collaborate with many talented musicians in the Bay Area and beyond - the music community is vibrant here in San Francisco! I'm finally over this 6-week long cold (knock on wood!) and excited to hit the road again for a short tour up to Tahoe and back to SF...I'm playing 5 gigs in 6 days this Valentine's/President's Day Weekend...so if you're in the region, come on out!

Tonight's San Francisco show must go on...hell & high water won't keep me away! I'm going stir-crazy! Thank you for all the well-wishes. James Nash, Joe Kyle Jr., Ben Jacobs & Dave Brogan will be my sonic safety net. What makes this a true "one night band?" Fritz will be back in the house! Brogan's out on tour the next 3 weeks, so come enjoy a little stability before we resume winging it in full-force when he's gone! 10pm @ Connecticut Yankee!
