Kate Gaffney Biography
Singer-songwriter Kate Gaffney honed her skills in her native Philadelphia, toured from coast to coast, and laid roots in Northern California's fertile music community. Her voice is rich with experience and her songs are genuine snapshots of life and love. Her dream album, "The Coachman", is ripe with contributions from friends and influences including Andrew Lipke, Steve Kimock and Jackie Greene. Career performance highlights include Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, High Sierra Music Festival, Philadelphia Folk Festival, and singing the National Anthem for the Philadelphia Phillies. Currently, Kate is performing solo acoustic shows, collaborating with longtime music friends, and working on new material for an upcoming release.
